Rooftop Fitness Classes come to Cayman

Imagine doing a fitness class with this view as the backdrop. Imagine the fresh Caribbean sea breeze filling your lungs and keeping you cool while you enjoy an intense workout.

This is about to become reality with the introduction in 2009 of fitness classes on the spectacular rooftop terrace of the Grand Cayman Beach Suites.

Cayman Sports Ltd has signed on the with the Grand Cayman Beach Suites to provide a quality and well rounded fitness program at the hotel for both the Beach Suites guests and also the residents of Cayman.

Warren Urquhart, Head Professional of Cayman Sports, is very excited about working with the Grand Cayman Beach Suites and introducing the rooftop classes to the island: "We already have Lana Baker working as a personal trainer in the hotel gym and now we are offering rooftop fitness classes which I think will be very popular. The location is stunning and it's a great opportunity for people to work out in a very relaxed environment, enjoying the fresh air and the fabulous ocean view."

With classes being offered in Yoga, Pilates, Boxercise and Circuit Training, there is something for everyone and as classes are held pre-work, early morning, late afternoon and early evening, even those with the most hectic schedule can find a time that works for them.

Warren adds, "we have a team of quality instructors and trainers who will ensure you have a great workout while also having fun and with such an amazing setting for the classes we know that it will be very popular. The most common New Year's resolution is to get fit or lose weight so the timing is perfect and our instructors will make sure you reach your health and fitness goals."
